GREEN BAY, Wis., Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Veteran cornerback Al Harris of the Green Bay Packers Saturday signed a multiyear contract extension with the team.
The Green Bay (Wis.) News-Chronicle reported Sunday the new deal is believed to be for four years and will pay Harris a base salary between $4 million and $5 million with more than $7 million in bonuses.
"Everything worked out -- everybody's happy," Harris, 29, said.
Harris, 29, had 46 tackles and three interceptions in 2003, his first season with the Packers. He made a game-closing interception and 52-yard touchdown run to give Green Bay a 33-27 victory over Seattle in a playoff game in January.
