Java Scanner locale() Method

The java Scanner locale() method returns this scanner's locale.

Following is the declaration for java.util.Scanner.locale() method

The following example shows the usage of Java Scanner locale() method to check locale of this scanner. We've created a scanner object using a given string. Then we printed the string using nextLine() method and then locale is printed. Scanner is closed using close() method.

   public static void main(String[] args) {

      String s = "Hello World! 3 + 3.0 = 6";

      // create a new scanner with the specified String Object
      Scanner scanner = new Scanner(s);
