C++ Locale Library - global Description

It sets global locale [static] and return a copy of loc.

Declaration

Following is the declaration for std::locale::global.

static locale global (const locale& loc);

   static locale global (const locale& loc);
Parameters

loc − It is a locale objects to be set as the global locale.

Return Value

It returns global locale object.

Exceptions

Strong guarantee − if an exception is thrown, there are no effects.

Data races

The locale object is modified.

   foo.global(std::locale(""));
