SUMMERSLAM Update – Third pre-show match announced
SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
WWE has added a third match to the Summerslam pre-show trying to squeeze as many wrestlers on the PPV line-up as possible.
The latest match added is a 12-man tag match – the same match from this past Tuesday’s Smackdown Live show.
It will be the same squads of American Alpha, The Usos, and the Hype Bros. vs. The Ascension, Tyler Breeze & Fandango, and The Vaudevillains.
Updated Summerslam PPV Line-up
- Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton
- WWE World Hvt. Title match: Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler
- WWE Universal Title match: Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor for new title
- A.J. Styles vs. John Cena
- Women’s Title re-match: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte (w/out Dana Brooke – banned from ringside)
- U.S. Title match: Rusev vs. Roman Reigns
- Tag Title match: New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. The Club (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows)
- Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass
- IC Title match: The Miz vs. Apollo Crews
- Smackdown Women’s Division: Natalya & Alexa Bliss & (replacement for Eva Marie) vs. Becky Lynch & Carmella & Naomi in a six-woman tag match
- Pre-Show: Cesaro vs. Sheamus – Best-of-Seven Series Match #1
- Pre-Show: The Dudleys vs. Sami Zayn & Neville
- Pre-Show: American Alpha & The Usos & Hype Bros. vs. The Ascension & Tyler Breeze & Fandango & The Vaudevillains in a 12-man tag match
