CSS Isondiga, a small wooden gunboat, operated in waters around Savannah, GA., and in St. Augustine Creek, FL., from April 1863 to December 1864,
Isondiga accompanied ironclad ram CSS Atlanta in the engagement in which Atlantawas captured by USS Weehawken 17 June 1863.
Isondiga escaped from Savannah, 21 December 1864, before the city fell to the forces of Gen. W. T. Sherman
Later burned by her commanding officer and crew to prevent seizure by Union forces. Specifications:
