You can add tags to your clusters to better understand, organize, and identify your clusters. Categorize your clusters by purpose, environment, or team. Use tags to help with cluster management. To learn more, see Cluster Management.
NoteThese cluster tags differ from the pre-defined replica set tags that Atlas provides. You can't change those replica set tags. You can provide and manage these cluster tags.
ImportantIf you delete a cluster and the associated tags don't apply to any other cluster, Atlas deletes the tags.

If it's not already displayed, select the organization that contains your desired project from the Organizations menu in the navigation bar.

In the lower-left corner of the cluster, view any existing tags.
On the cluster, click Add Tag or Manage tags.

Other MongoDB services, such as Billing, can access resource tags. MongoDB also sends cluster resource tags to DataDog and Prometheus integrations. Click Save.

Do any of the following tasks:
To add a tag, click Add tag, and specify a Key and Value.
To edit a tag, update the Key or Value for the tag.
To delete a tag, click the Delete icon next to the tag.
NoteIf you delete a tag, Atlas removes the tag from the associated resources.
