Director Duncan Jones achieves a strange and winning amalgam, a gripping action film that also works as poetry.

Everything we learn about Stevens and Christina and Goodwin by the end of the film comes from their actions, not their words. That lends Source Code an elusive, almost arty shimmer beneath its glossy, action-movie surface.

I already made a review but its lost!? Anyway in short this movie is one of my personal favourites and when ive talked about this movie with others its never "source code" its "that movie where a bomb blows up a train and the guy goes back in time to figure out who did it". The ending is just something else aswell, its magic, with so must heart.

What a great movie The movie's idea is great and at last acting was perfect.

It's not nearly as complex and eerily existential as the director's debut, "Moon," but in its own way it's an even more satisfying time slice of identity-scrambled sci-fi.

A high-octane mind game best enjoyed by following a key character's advice: "The Source Code is a gift. Don't squander it by thinking."

The script by Ben Ripley doesn't come up with enough obstacles to throw in the hero's path, and his budding romance with the doomed Christina feels more like a studio mandate than an organic development.

Somewhere under all that bloat is the greatest short subject of all time.

I first decided to watch Source Code when I heard it was a time loop movie, and I loved this movie, it stroke the right chord with me, I can't say more than "it's a time loop movie" since it would basically be a spoiler, if you have prime video I would highly recommend it

I was watching this and all I could think was that I had seen it before. In fact I’m pretty sure I had seen it before. It was that memorable. Anyway I actually quite liked it, let me tell you why. The film had an engaging and interesting start, but then it became less interesting towards the end because it delved into the nonsense science farce too much. Which is my main issue, the science behind the fantastical story is presented as fact but is absolute total nonsense mumbo jumbo which makes every moment of movie science really hard to swallow. Also the first part was a bit frustrating because of how long it takes the main guy to get it. On that note I didn't like Jake Gyllenhaal, he plays the same character which worked perfectly in Donnie Darko (2001) but in everything else nah he’s too serious and boring. Well overall I actually enjoyed my experience but it’s not consistent enjoyment.

Source Code is confusing on all levels which it makes it nearly impossible to stay interested in. The ending of the movie is so far-fetched for even movies that it becomes completely unrealistic.

Moon was special, and the only reason I finished Source Crap. From the opening this movie was tired: cliche music, overdone flyovers, poorly acted, crammed full of everything they think a blockbuster needs, and all in all far too glossy. The beginning is fun, trying to figure out what's going on and all, they reveal some mysteries you didn't expect and I was hope full for a great film. Once Jake's character decides to take the reigns, however, his actions are erratic at best along with the plot. All in all the movie tried to do to much and started unravelling by the third act. Also, could have done without both a love story and the father redemption story.
