Status: New Owner: ---- New issue 96 by mgedmin: a better intToUnicodeStr http://code.google.com/p/html5lib/issues/detail?id=96
I was looking at the curiously-named ihatexml.py, and I noticed that you asked a question: def intToUnicodeStr(intValue): #There must be a better (non-evil) way to do this return escapeRegexp(eval(r"u'\u%s'"%hex(intValue)[2:].rjust(4, "0"))) The answer is 'return unichr(intValue)' (and I see that you use unichr at the bottom of the file). Incidentally, you could say max_unicode = 0xFFFF instead of int('FFFF', 16). -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
