That's weird. The file is there, in the same subdirectory as before: encoding/chardet/test_big5.txt All I did was change the definition of HTML5LIB_BASE. Did the Ruby version previously search subdirectories? > > Is the goal here really to make the ruby directory self-contained, or > would the establishment of a parallel testfiles directory devoid of > python specifics address this need? > > The reason why I ask is that svn:externals is a minor PITA, but would > be less so if the whole testfiles directory were copied and not a half > dozen specific directories. I was thinking /trunk/python /trunk/ruby /trunk/testfiles with svn:externals /trunk/ruby/testfiles /trunk/testfiles /trunk/python/testfiles /trunk/testfiles My goal is to be able to distribute the contents of the ruby directory in a self-contained fashion -- including tests. (I would imagine that the same would apply to Ryan's future gem distribution.) If there's a more convenient way to do this than svn:externals, then I'm all for that. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "html5lib-discuss" group.
