Passes test_encoding, tests/test_tokenizer, and most of test_parser. Some of the existing failures are related to the checking of a specific ordering of attributes -- something that shouldn't be guaranteed. I recommend that the dumptree method implementations be changed to sort attributes by name, and the test cases be updated accordingly. This would allow the underlying implementations to use whatever order they find appropriate and still enable reproducible testing.
I would appreciate it if somebody would review this code. It mostly is a straight port of the Python code. Debugging one of the remaining failures might be a good way to "get your feet wet". My biggest fear is that this code is destined to be thought of as "Sam's code", as opposed to something that multiple people contribute to. Please don't let that happen. To run the tests, cd ruby ruby runtests.rb - Sam Ruby --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "html5lib-discuss" group.
