The Delano Las Vegas, By the Numbers

Believe it or not, the brand new desert outpost of the iconic Delano South Beach is considered small by Las Vegas standards. Occupying the tower that once housed THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, The Delano Las Vegas has approximately 1,000 rooms, along with four restaurants and lounges—compare that to the Bellagio's 3,400 rooms and more than a dozen restaurants. But despite The Delano's modest-for-Vegas size, the hotel packs in a number of impressive design features and luxury amenities. Here's how the newest hotel in Sin City adds up.

LED lights on each of the Delano's three exterior signs: 2,918, with a total of 8,754 LED lights

Weight and height of each letter in those signs: 650 lbs and 16 feet.

Boulders sourced from the Nevada desert and now standing guard at The Delano's entrance: Two, each estimated to be hundreds of millions of years old, and totaling 126,000 pounds. They were delivered by a 240-ton hydraulic crane.

Delano Las Vegas's lobby

Small rocks dangling from ceiling in the lobby as part of Korean artist's Jaehyo Lee's art installation: More than 500.

All-suite rooms: 1,117. The average size of each suite is 725 square feet. All suites have separate sitting areas, 46" flat-screen TVs, fully stocked mini-bars, and Malin + Goetz toiletries.

Penthouse suites: 28, each averaging about 1,642 square feet.
