The high specific impulse, deep throttling, and restart capabilities of BE-7 make the engine ideal for large lunar payload missions.
BE-7
BE-7 is a high-performance, dual-expander cycle engine. The engine generates 10,000 lbf (44.5 kN) of vacuum thrust in space and is capable of deep throttling.
Testing and ProductionBE-7 engines are being vacuum cell tested in a simulated space-like environment in the Air Force Research Laboratory at Edwards Air Force Base in California to prepare for lunar missions. Production takes place at our facilities in Kent, WA and Huntsville, AL.
