Object Object Object IV or OOOIV is a Microsoft Powerpoint web-animated Object Show created by ChristineCrympet on the 2nd of April 2022 and can be watched on YouTube on this playlist.
A satirical and celebratory take on object shows, its plot follows a desperate-for-fame host, 13-Block, trying his best to climb the ladder to stardom by creating and attempting to complete a sixteen-person object show however is forced to face several obstacles, stemming from toxic relationships to past mistakes to going against a terrible, tyrannical regime to lastly, his own morals. Every single object show that has ever been created has taken place at some point in this universe, for example:
- Inanimate Insanity: Now a reality TV show that was always fake and scripted, written by the Season 2 contestant, Cheesy and the show's overall host, MePhone4. He has written most of Season 2 and all of Invitational replacing Cheesy, who wrote all of the first season and half of the second.
- Earthquake: A "Japanese gameshow" that is still running for over 80+ seasons and whose presenters keep getting assassinated.
- Object Universe: One of its contestants has previously been in a relationship with OOOIV's host.
- ONE. (2020): A real event and cautionary tale of how not to be a show host. Has a documentary.
It is primarily drawn and animated on PowerPoint with occasional sections of traditional and digital art with characters speaking with textboxes (with the occasional soundbite) in a comic-book-like format. Five of the characters in the main cast (Cloud, Eraser, Packing Peanut, Pen and Toffee) originate and are recycled from unreleased or unknown previous works of the creator which are also canon to this universe.
The show contains the following tropes:
- A Dog Named "Dog": As per usual, subverted with several characters.
- A Lizard Named "Liz": Characters with -y suffixes behind them and Dart-E.
- Animate Inanimate Object: 99% of the characters adhere to this.
- Anthropomorphic Food: Foods and drinks alike.
- Armless Biped: Various characters are bipeds without arms, other characters invert this by only having arms while some characters just have nothing.
- Cannibal Tribe: First seen in the eighth episode, a village run by cannibals.
- Crossover Couple: 13-Block and Cup from Object Universe plus Swappy with Paintbrush and Lightbulb from Inanimate Insanity.
- Death Is Cheap: Characters can easily come back to life with the use of recovery centers.
- Deconstruction Crossover: Conventions of object shows are explored sometimes.
- Expy: Various characters are based on or are deliberate parodies of other object show characters.
- Evil Counterpart: There are evil versions of the host and most of the main cast as seen in "Object Show-per League of Evil" as well as of Trophy in "Sweet Sapphic Sacrifice".
- Hidden Villain: Evil 13-Block is hinted at in picture before actually appearing 6 episodes into the show.
- Homage: Many of the challenges in episodes are homages to other object shows such as the tenth episode's General Mayhem inspiration and the sixteenth to eighteenth episode's Brawl of the Objects inspiration.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover: 99% of Object Shows that exist have existed in this universe.
- Repetitive Name: The show's title: Object Object Object IV. All episode titles besides the eighth, ninth and eighteenth contain the word "Object Show" in them.
- Shout-Out: Various other pieces of media from other object shows to manga to TV are referenced in some way.
- Speech-Bubbles Interruption: Characters will overlap speech bubbles for comedic effect.
