Planning trips to your dream travel destinations just got easier with Firefox Lite. You can easily explore your favorite travel destinations around the world with a few taps of the finger. You can view social media posts, watch videos and explore popular hotels related to your travel destination all from one app.

Firefox Lite is now a one-stop shop for all things travel. To get started, all you have to do is open the Firefox Lite app and click the airplane icon under Content & Services.

Explore travel destinations

Firefox Lite makes it easy for you to determine which destinations you’d like to travel to one day by generating recommendations. However, you can also manually search for destinations that haven’t been recommended.

View travel destination recommendations

Firefox Lite categorizes a variety of travel destination recommendations to help you come up with travel ideas. To view these recommendations, tap the Explore tab. At the bottom of the screen, a list of categorized travel destination recommendations displays.

Click any one of the cities that display within these categories to view social media posts, videos, and popular hotels.

Search for your travel destinations

If you don’t see a travel destination listed as a recommendation, you can easily search for one using either Google’s search engine or Firefox Lite Preview Travel Discovery’s search engine.

Use Google’s search engine
  1. Tap the Explore tab.
  2. Tap the search field.
    A new screen displays with a search field.
  3. Enter the travel destination in the search field.
    A list of Google and Firefox Lite Preview Travel Discovery search results displays.
  4. Tap a result under See results in Google.
    A new browser window opens in Firefox Lite. You can learn more about your travel destination via Google’s search engine.

From this browser window, you can do any of the following:

Use Firefox Lite Preview’s search engine
  1. Tap the Explore tab.
  2. Tap the search field.
    A new screen displays with a search field.
  3. Enter the travel destination in the search field.
    A list of Google and Firefox Lite Preview Travel Discovery search results displays.
    Tap a result under See results in Firefox Lite Preview Travel Discovery.
    A new screen displays in Firefox Lite with access to social media posts, videos and popular hotels.
View popular hotels

If viewing a travel destination recommendation or manually searching for a destination using Firefox Lite Preview’s search engine, you can view popular hotels directly within Firefox Lite.

Add travel destinations to your bucket list

If viewing a travel destination recommendation or manually searching for a destination using Firefox Lite Preview’s search engine, you can add destinations to your bucket list. Simply click the heart icon in the upper right of the screen after you’ve clicked the recommendation or manually searched for the destination.

Manage travel destinations on your bucket list

Firefox Lite allows you to create a list of favorite travel destinations so that you can easily plan future travel. From the Bucket List tab, you can tap travel destinations that have been added and do any of the following:

You can also remove travel destinations from your bucket list at any time by tapping the heart icon in the upper right of the image that displays.
