Tab Mix Plus is incompatible with Firefox 17 - update it to fix the issue

There was a problem with Tab Mix Plus and Firefox 17. In an effort to provide the best experience for our users, we chose to mark the add-on as incompatible. The Developer of Tab Mix Plus has since released an update that fixes the issue (version 0.4.0.3.1). Updating Tab Mix Plus fixes the issue.

How do I update Tab Mix Plus?

If you haven't installed the dev build of Tab Mix Plus, you can simply update your Add-ons to install the latest version:

  1. On the menu bar, click the menu and then click . The Add-ons Manager tab will open.
  2. Click and select . If Firefox finds updates, they will be downloaded automatically.
  3. Click the "Restart now to complete installation" link.

If you installed the Dev version, remove it and install the updated version

If you installed the Dev Version of Tab Mix Plus, you will have to remove it before installing the updated release.

  1. Click the menu button , click and select .
  2. Uninstall the Tab Mix Plus Dev-Build by clicking the Remove button next to Tab Mix Plus.
  3. Then close and restart Firefox.
  4. Go to Tab Mix Plus' Add-on Page and click "Add to Firefox".
