Sign up for Pocket with your Mozilla account

Pocket lets you save web pages and access them later. All you need is a free account. You can even use your existing Mozilla account to sign up.

1. Click the Pocket button to open the prompts to sign up.

2. Click Sign up with Firefox.
3. The Mozilla account page will open in a new tab. Follow the prompts to create a new account, or sign in with your existing Mozilla account.

   New Mozilla account: You'll receive a confirmation email when you sign up for a new account. Click the link in the email to confirm that you own that email address.

4. Once you've signed in, you're ready to save web pages to your Pocket list.

The Pocket button works just like the add-on. Click

to sign in with your existing account. If you have problems to sign in, you may find solutions in

about managing accounts.

If you have increased privacy settings in Firefox, you may find yourself stuck in a loop when you click the Pocket button. If you are prompted to sign up even if you've already signed in, follow these instructions to add an exception for getpocket.com.

1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and then select or , depending on your macOS version.Click the menu button and select .
2. Click the panel.
3. Under History, choose in the drop-down list and uncheck Always use private browsing mode if it is check marked (you'll be prompted to restart Firefox).
4. Click Manage Exceptions… in the Cookies and Site Data section.
5. Enter getpocket.com in the Address of website field, then click Allow.
6. Click Save Changes to finish.
