The screen lock feature allows you to make your phone more secure.

Setting the lock

Note: You will be prompted to set a passcode if you choose to have a passcode lock.

Changing your Passcode

You can change your passcode as often as you want:

  1. Tap the Settings app , then tap .
  2. Tap Change Passcode button.
  3. Enter your current passcode to prove that you are the owner of the device.
  4. Type in your new desired passcode, then Change when you are finished.

Whoever turns on your phone screen will be prompted to enter a passcode in order to access your device.

SIM PIN

You can also add a SIM PIN to prevent access to your SIM card. When enabled, any device containing the SIM card will request the SIM PIN upon restart.

  1. To set a SIM PIN, tap on to go to the Settings app.
  2. Swipe up to until your see the Privacy and Security section.
  3. Tap on SIM security.

Important: The SIM PIN is not the same as the passcode used to unlock your phone!
