Installing apps

The Marketplace is a store that features apps designed for your Firefox OS device. This article looks at how to discover and install them.

Find great apps

When you open the Marketplace you'll see a list of featured apps and popular apps.

Install an app

Installing an app is quick and easy.

  1. When you find an app that you would like to install, tap the blue button. If the app is free, the button will say that. If the app costs money, the price will be listed on the button.

    Note: The process for purchasing an app differs between carrier and country. Just follow the simple on screen instructions.

  2. Confirm that you want to install the app by tapping the Install button.
What's the difference between Marketplace and Adaptive Search?

The Marketplace and Adaptive Search offer two different experiences for downloading apps. The Marketplace is a store with apps designed for your Firefox OS device. The Adaptive Search finds mobile websites that can be installed and used like apps.
