The Marketplace is a store that lets you find and install free and paid apps on your Android device. Marketplace apps are developed using open web technology, so any app you purchase or install on one device can be accessed on your other devices.
Enable Marketplace apps on your device: Before you begin, please change your device's settings to allow Marketplace apps on your Android device: tap on the Settings menu on your device, then Security. In the Security menu, select Unknown Sources or a similar option that lets you install apps from sources other than Google Play.
Find and install Open Web Apps on AndroidWhen you open the Marketplace you'll be able to search for specific apps or browse apps by popularity or category.
Note: You'll need a Marketplace account to pay for an app. The process for purchasing an app differs between carrier and country. Just follow the simple on screen instructions.
Because Marketplace apps are developed using Open Web technology, you can use them on your desktop, Android and Firefox OS devices if you sign up for an account.
You can uninstall apps purchased through the Marketplace the same way you would uninstall native Android apps:
