How to pin and unpin Firefox from the taskbar on Windows 10 and Windows 11

This article describes how to pin Firefox to the taskbar on Windows for easy access. To learn how to set Firefox as your default browser, see Make Firefox your default browser on Windows.

Pin Firefox from the taskbar
  1. Open Firefox on your computer. The Firefox icon will appear in the taskbar.
  2. Right-click on the icon and select .
Windows 10
  1. Click the Windows menu button in the taskbar.
  2. Find the Firefox browser. Right-click on it and select .
Windows 11
  1. Click the Windows menu button in the taskbar.
  2. Click the ALL button at the top right side of the apps panel.
  3. Hover over the Firefox browser and right-click on it and select .

Alternatively, you can drag the Firefox icon directly from your desktop onto the taskbar.

Unpin Firefox from the taskbar
