The Firefox OS Messages app lets you send short text messages (SMS) back and forth with people. You can also send and receive images, videos and other multimedia attachments (MMS). This article will get you up and running in no time.
Send a messageYou can also add a subject to your message by tapping the menu button
on the top right corner of the screen and choosing

After you send your message, you'll see a screen that shows all the messages between you and the recipient. A spinning circle next to any of your messages means it's in the process of sending.
When creating a message, you can attach a photo, video or music file:
This feature is available in Firefox OS version 1.1 and higher. Not sure what version of Firefox OS you have?
Here's how to find out.Low memory devices: If you're on a Firefox OS 1.3T device, images you send will be resized to 300KB or less.
Save a file that someone sent you: Tap on the message, then tap the file to open it. Tap Save.
View and reply to messagesWhen you receive a message, your phone will chime and display a notification at the top of the screen.
Of course you can always just open the Messages app to see a list of your messages.

Delete messagesNote: Photos, videos or music files that you saved will not be deleted.
