How to set up Firefox Sync in Firefox for Android

Sign in to your Mozilla account on Firefox for Android to sync your bookmarks, credit cards, history, logins and open tabs across your devices.

To sync your bookmarks, credit cards, history, logins and open tabs with Firefox Sync by simply signing in to your existing Mozilla account:

  1. Tap the menu button
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap Use email instead.
  4. Enter your Mozilla account credentials when prompted.
Choose what to sync
  1. Tap the menu button
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap your email address.
  4. Put a check mark next to the types of information you want to sync:
Connect to a Self Hosted Mozilla account server

To customize your Mozilla account server settings:

  1. Open the Firefox for Android menu.
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap .
  4. Tap the Firefox icon 5 times.
  5. Go back.
  6. Tap .
  7. Tap and enter your content server URL (for example: https://www.fxa.example.local).
  8. Tap and enter your sync server URL (for example: https://token.fxa.example.local/token/1.0/sync/1.5).
  9. Tap that appaered in the menu. The server changes will take effect when you run Firefox again.
