Firefox for Enterprise 126 - Release notes

Except where noted, everything here applies to both Firefox 126 and the Firefox 115.11 ESR.

• Locking the Proxy policy now locks all options even if you don't change any values. This was fixed in bug 1876555.
• The "Tabs from other devices" section no longer shows in Firefox View if you have Accounts disabled. This was fixed in bug 1861400.

• The TranslateEnabled policy has been added. (This does not apply to the ESR.)
• The Preferences policy has been updated to allow setting the preferences privacy.userContext.enabled and privacy.userContext.ui.enabled.

Firefox 128 is the next ESR and will be released on July 9, 2024.

If you use the ESR, we strongly recommend that you start testing with Firefox Nightly to see if there are any issues you have with the next ESR.

If you need to prevent upgrades for any reason, you can use the new AppUpdatePin policy.
