Control notifications in Firefox for Android

This article is for an old version of Firefox for Android that's no longer supported. Please

update to the latest version

to get the most up-to-date features and fixes.

Keep up to date on your favorite websites! When you visit a site that's not frequently updated, Firefox can notify you when it has new content.

You can turn these notifications on or off by following these steps:

  1. Tap the Control Center icon (lock).
  2. Tap Edit Site Settings.
  3. Put a check mark next to Notifications, then tap Clear to cancel the notification. To keep the notification, tap Cancel.

The Firefox logo will appear at the top of your screen to let you know when the page has been updated. Tap it to load that updated page.
