Note: The address autofill feature is currently available for Firefox releases, for users located in Canada, France, Germany, the U.K. and the U.S.

Firefox lets you automatically fill in your address on forms (for example, when you're ordering something online). Follow these steps to manage this feature.

When completing an address in a website form, you may be offered the opportunity to save that address for use in the future.

If the address is similar to one that you already have saved, but might have additional information, you will be offered the opportunity to update an existing record.

In the message that appears, select the icon to edit the address before saving and the icon to access your address settings in Firefox.

Turn address autofill on or off
  1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and then select or , depending on your macOS version.Click the menu button and select .
  2. Click the panel and scroll down to the Autofill section.
  3. Put a check mark in the box next to Save and fill addresses to turn it on, or remove the check mark to turn it off.

We recommend enabling this feature only on private computers.

Add, edit or remove saved addresses

Use this setting to add, edit or remove saved addresses in Firefox.

  1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and then select or , depending on your macOS version.Click the menu button and select .
  2. Click the panel, and scroll down to the Autofill section.
  3. Click the Saved addresses… button.
