Your Android TV device comes with an advertising ID unique to each device. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time. The advertising ID enables apps on your device to provide a more personalized ads experience. Learn more about personalized ads on Google.
Important: You can't turn off ads, but you can control the use of your advertising ID for personalized ads across installed apps.
Reset the advertising ID on your Android TVImportant: When you reset your device's ad ID, it replaces the current ID with a new one. Apps can still send you personalized ads, but for a while they may not be as relevant to you.
Delete the advertising ID on your Android TVImportant: When you delete your device's advertising ID, a new one isn't assigned. Apps can still send you ads, but they may not be as relevant to you. You won't receive ads based on this advertising ID, but you may still receive ads based on other factors, like the information you've shared with apps. You can always create a new advertising ID.
