You can import passwords to your Google Account, and then check if any passwords aren’t secure. Passwords in your Google Account will sync across all devices you sign in to.
Step 1: Download your passwords as a .CSV fileOnly passwords in the .CSV file format can be imported to your Google Account.
To learn how to download your passwords, go to the help center for the password management app you use.
Tip: To make sure your passwords are formatted properly, open your .CSV file. Check if the first line of your .CSV file includes these column names:
If not, update your .CSV file.
Step 2: Import passwords Step 3: Delete your .CSV password fileAfter you import passwords to your Google Account, delete the .CSV password file you downloaded.
If you don’t delete your password file, anyone with access to the device can open the file and access your passwords.
Check for unsafe passwordsOnly .CSV files can be used to import passwords to your Google Account. Make sure you select the .CSV file type when you download your password file.
