Table of Contents Safari User Guide Hide distractions when browsing web pages in Safari on MacUse Distraction Control to hide menus and other diversions on a web page.
Go to the Safari app on your Mac.
When viewing a website, click in the Smart Search field, then choose Hide Distracting Items.
Click the items you want to hide on the webpage.
Click Done.
To unhide, click , then choose Show Hidden Items.
