Section 3.1 says:
REC-9: Inbound DHCPv6 discovery packets [RFC3315] received on exterior interfaces MUST NOT be processed by any integrated DHCPv6 server or relay agent.
It should say:
REC-9: Inbound DHCPv6 Solicit messages [RFC3315] received on exterior interfaces MUST NOT be processed by any integrated DHCPv6 server or relay agent.
Notes:
"discovery" packet, more precisely DHCPDISCOVER message, is defined in DHCPv4 but it is not defined in DHCPv6.
DHCPv6 clients send "Solicit" messages to discover DHCPv6 servers or relay agents.
[WK]: RFC3315 seems to use "discover" and "discovery" in the general sense, but as this recommendation uses RFC2119 MUST NOT language, it seems that being more explicit (Solicit) is more appropriate.
