Sacajawea Historical State Park is a 267-acre day use park at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia rivers.

Stroll the green, tree-shaded grounds, and read the seven story circles installed by internationally-known artist Maya Lin. Take the family boating for the day or a picnic under the trees. 

The park offers one first come, first serve primitive campsite for boaters only on the Northwest Discovery Water Trail

Interpretive opportunities

The park has many outdoor, self-guided interpretive displays, as well as framework representations of Native American dwellings.

Sacajawea Interpretive Center features interactive exhibits of the Corps of Discovery, Sacagawea and Sahaptin-speaking tribes of the region.

Summer: Wednesday-Sunday 10am-5pm

Winter: By appointment
