While I haven't yet tested it (especially the module stuff did look a bit strange the 10 minutes I had to skim through the docs), it looks very much like one could use it as a replacement for the sometimes pretty strange behaving PHP (which is a pain to extend with other libraries also). http://modsnake.sourceforge.net www.zope.org is another shot at about the same stuff (application server this time) but I honestly have to say I think at least the docs are complete crap as I spent two days trying to dig into it and finally gave up due to the docs. Not sure what one should say about Zope itself (from what I saw, this whole DTML stuff appears to be way to complicated).
