I'd say so.  It did directly relate to Python as it appears to have direct
support for Python.  IMO the last thing we want to do is to discourage
commercial developers for moving into the Python space.  It did not appear
to qualify as spam, so I have no problem with it.

If you are worried about commercial announcements, this is indeed your best
defence.  If the commercial apps cant compete with the freeware competitors,
they will die of their own accord in a very short time.  OTOH, people should
be free to compare the free vs commercial offerings, and make their own
informed choice.

Just my opinion, of course.
