That's actually a point I missed making. While I wouldn't class myself as "typical", when I went looking for the user-scripts directory on my machine, I automatically looked in %APPDATA%\PythonXY. I suspect that many people would assume this was how it worked anyway, and be surprised by the current behaviour. Paul
