I hate EINTR. It's a pain to handle them for each syscall in subprocess and asyncio (where signals are likely). It's good to not have to handle them explicitly anymore! FYI in Python 3.5 it's now also possible to use signal.set_wakeup_fd() with a socket on Windows. Victor
