The "review" links on that tracker item also show the initial attempt at automatic integration with a locally hosted copy of Rietveld. I believe the integration effort stalled because the "auto-review" setup was leaking memory like a sieve and MvL wasn't able to figure out why (it was something along those lines, anyway).
