And what exactly is a "forum"? By my understanding of English, a “forum” is any assembly for open discussion of a topic. Mailing lists, IRC channels, Usenet groups, and gatherings in a pub all merit the term “forum”; and no crappy web applications get to usurp its meaning exclusively.
