And by then, why not include darcs, GNU arch and monotone?

Seriously, it's going to be hard enough to choose between hg and bzr
(at least I hope so, because it would show that both are excellent tools).
And since actually the implementation language makes sense, see the
other replies, we don't need to make it even harder.
