I like to port bytearray to 2.6 as early as possible. I'd be grateful if
you could port a limited subset of the new buffer protocol within the
next few weeks. bytearray needs:

PyBuffer_FillInfo
PyObject_ReleaseBuffer
PyObject_GetBuffer
PyBuffer_ToContiguous
PyObject_CheckBuffer
PyExc_BufferError
