Is it noted somewhere that building Python with GCC 4.x results in
problems such as abs(-sys.maxint-1) being negative?

I think this is something users may want to know.


Perhaps the "Known Bugs" page at 
http://www.python.org/download/releases/2.5/bugs/ is the right place to put
this info.
