I don't think it can be removed altogether because sometimes you just need to be able to do magic, but it can be made a little more explicit. With the asterisk, it's greppable, and editors can find it or highlight it. I like the parallel to 'import *' (frowned upon, but sometimes useful if you really know what you are doing). -- ?!ng
