I volunteer to help or do, whichever Kevin (or
others) prefer.

I suspect that any draft will trigger a number of
small objections and clarifications.  To avoid 
recluttering python-dev, I want to iron out as many 
of them as possible before the next PEP posting.  
Please email me if you want to see (or write) the 
interim versions.
