I'd hate for this to be rushed and end up freezing something into the
language that was later regretted. My feeling is that nobody's had
enough time to absorb the latest swerve that the discussion has taken.
We seemed to be converging on a solution everyone would be reasonably
happy with, and then Guido suddenly introduced something completely
off-the-wall. I think a pause for thought is needed.
