Even when you know what to do, it can be very difficult to track everything down, especially when you're trying to wedge Unicode and i18n into an application that wasn't originally designed for it <wink>. +1 from me, although I agree with Alex's very persuasive plain text message that it probably ought to live on the type object. -Barry
