So pick a favorite already and argue with the folks on c.l.py about
which one will be presented to me.  I'm serious.  I don't want a
hundred people arguing their separate points with me.  If that's all I
get the current syntax stays.  If the community can *agree* on
something they can support, I will listen.  But it has to be a unified
voice.
