This test was added for python.org/sf/798145 I assume that the 'from _locale import ... RADIXCHAR ...' line fails, and the test skips? Any system which doesn't have RADIXCHAR is expected to skip this test. According to glibc's documentation (the version google coughed up: http://www.delorie.com/gnu/docs/glibc/libc_119.html ), RADIXCHAR is among the identifiers specified in "the X/Open standard". OS X isn't Unix enough for this situation? Jeff
