[Python-Dev] Python on dual-processor Macs?Greg Ewing greg@cosc.canterbury.ac.nz

I seem to remember a while back there was mention of a bug
that prevented Python from working on dual-processor Macintoshes.

Can anyone tell me:

* Does this bug still exist?

* If so, is it just the classic and/or carbon versions of
MacPython that are affected, or does it apply to the
  unix command-line version as well?

This is rather important to me right now, since I'm thinking
of getting a new Mac, and I don't want to end up with
something that won't run Python!

Thanks,
