I'll send in a patch to .../idlelib/README.txt to add a comment about
this. The README is accessible from the About IDLE dialog available
on the Help menu so there's a /slight/ chance it might be read  :-)

The popup on first use is probably necessary if you really want
(to attempt :) to get the user's attention.
