I'm ready to start the clock ticking for a release of 2.3a2 TODAY
(Wednesday).

I'll tag the tree and do the release from there.  Please, no checkins
on either the branch or the head until you see the release announced
on python.org or in c.l.py.a, or unless I ask you.
