I'd like to cover the following: - roadmap for deprecating string exceptions (i.e. when will we issue DeprecationWarnings, when will they become illegal). - roadmap for requiring exceptions to inherit from Exception (or discussion on whether this is still a goal). - impact of the transition to new-style classes everywhere on the exception rules. That might be too broad or too narrow -- I'm up for suggestions! -Barry
