Paul, You probably know as well as anyone that the one and only person you should talking to about XML-RPC and its XML compliance (or lack thereof) is Dave Winer. Feel free to read through the archives of the xmlrpc@yahoogroups.com mailing list if you haven't already. If you can move Dave from his current position, more power to you.
